5 Inspirational Women You Need To Follow On Instagram

Here are five incredible Instagrammers taking the world by a storm...

1. Olivia Smith

Olivia Smith’s inspiring approach to life will make you laugh, cry and change the way you live. After being diagnosed with cancer at the age of just 22, she created Cancer Chicks, a charity to help young adults with a cancer diagnosis. The charity offers support, helps tackle isolation and builds confidence through and beyond treatment. Olivia’s personal Instagram showcases boozy brunches, trendy outfits and some heartfelt captions - proof that illness doesn’t have to strip away your identity.

2. Gina Martin

Gina was voted ‘Woman of 2018’ by multiple publications, and it’s easy to see why. After a shocking incident at a festival, the young campaigner decided to fight to make upskirting a criminal offence, and she won. Her Instagram (which, we must mention, is so aesthetically pleasing it hurts) documented her battle and motivates young people to become more politically active, and to stand up for what they believe in.

3. Lisa Potter-Dixon

Make-Up Artist Lisa Potter-Dixon is one to turn to when you need motivation and a refreshingly honest voice. Through sheer determination she’s not only achieved her dream job (and one we’re all envious of!) but she’s also a bestselling author, Instagram influencer, podcast co-host and a fantastic Birchbox Facebook Live guest. Her Instagram is guaranteed to put a smile on your face whilst proving that hard work will pay off.

4. Emma Watson

A mixture of political movements, charity work and book recommendations feature on Emma Watson’s Instagram, constantly making us want to get up and go. The British actress and activist is heavily involved with women’s rights work, is one of the faces of the Time’s Up movement, campaigns for gender equality, is a Women Goodwill Ambassador AND promotes the importance of education. How she even has time for Instagram, we do not know.

5. Natalie Lee

Natalie Lee is not afraid to discuss deep, controversial issues or bend fashion rules. Founder of the award-winning blog Style Me Sunday, she prides herself on showing “fashion with feeling” and championing body positivity. The inspirational influencer doesn’t stop there, she’s also a busy mother of two, founder of the Warrior Woman Project - a campaign to break down body insecurities - and never shies away from showing support for women, self-love and re-defining beauty standards (what doesn’t she do?).
