I used this for the first time the other day, I usually use a sea salt spray and I was very excited. It made my hair go clumpy and extremely dry and it felt like it needed a brush. I have very thick curly hair so it may have just been my hair type that it didn’t agree with!1
I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately it made my hair REALLY dry and crispy. I was too worried to run a brush through in case it started snapping, it had the texture over overbleaching. No from me.1
I was so excited to try this as I have naturally wavy hair and always wondered about these beach sprays that bring out the wave more, however I am so disappointed with this. It instantly made my hair feel dry and brittle and as though I’d sprayed 10 cans of hairspray all over. I normally wait as long as I can to wash my hair but this had to be washed straight out as my hair felt horrendous, couldn’t be brushed and felt like straw!!1
Terrible product. I washed my hair, which if I leave to dry has a natural wave to it anyway, I then towel dryed it and sprayed this product on and oh my word! My hair was dry in seconds, so dry and ratty I couldnt even run my fingers through it and it was so thick and horrible to touch, it felt disgusting like I had back combed it all and just left it like that! I re-washed my hair and put alot of conditioner in it and I still couldnt get a brush through it properly and now 4 days later I still cant run a brush through it properly and then once I have finally brushed it all it is tatty again 5 mins later and then I cant put my fingers through it properly. It has dried my hair out terribly and I would never use a product like this again in my life or recommend to anyone.1
I have quite naturally straight hair, but thought I would give this a go. It did give my hair waves however it left my hair feeling very sticky and VERY dry. I couldn’t wait to wash it off. I think I would prefer an actual salt texturising spray than this one. Wouldn’t buy again.2
I like the smell, but never in my life has my hair been so dry and crunchy. I had to re-wash my hair, I couldn't stand the texture of it.1
Very sticky feeling and dry. I would maybe use it to mess up a second day hair rather than using on freshly cleaned hair2
Dried my hair so bad it felt crunchy and horrible and smells pretty much vile :( maybe better for someone with a more natural oilly hair1
I’m a hairdresser. This is great for a single use if you don’t mind washin your hair the next day.
Great if you want to put your hair up secure
Feels sticky and the bottle was runny when received. Usually I love Amica products but this one didn’t work for me. Made my hair hard and sticky2
