you get what you pay for. I bought this because I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the beauty blender, this was just a waste of money. when you put it under water it expands a lot! it gets to be too big and bulky to work with on my face, the pointed part is too big to use for a more precise application. this thing sucks up foundation like crazy, I had to use 2-3 times the amount of foundation i have to use with the BB, so i save money in getting this sponge but then spend more money on foundation. I don't use this for foundation anymore, i usually don't use it, sometimes i'll use it with my setting powder. overall don't waste your money, this product is not very user friendly.2
I have a different brand of blending sponge and was quite excited to try a different one but I didn't love this.
The sponge is very hard and even when damp I felt it took so long to blend anything. I don't like the shape of this either, it is round all over and so doesn't cover much space.
I was not impressed by this product - when wet it remains to stiff to properly blend in make up. Will be sticking with the beauty blender or real techniques2
I initially left a decent review for this but after a few uses ended up binning it ! Soaks up far too much foundation and remains very stiff . I love spectrum but this was not the quality I expected.2
i was delighted to receive this in my box as i was dying to try out one of these type make up sponge however i found that i used double my usual amount of foundation - i will return to using my make up brush2
I found this sponge to be very hard on the skin even after thoroughly dampening under running water. It gave an uneven application and soaked up quite a bit of product. I have given it a good few tries and used a number of different techniques to try and see if I could get it to work for me but unfortunately to no avail. It was such a disappointment as I had been looking forward to getting this.2
Initially I didn't read the instructions and hadn't run it under water first which meant it felt a bit stiff. It has improved with use but I do think it soaks up more product than my brushes so I wouldn't purchase one. Good to get the opportunity to try it out though.2
This makeup sponge is OK but it does soak up a lot of product. It also is not very flexible and does retain water when you dampen it.2
I was so looking forward to this product but to be honest I did not like it. I certainly would not pay for it. It felt strange to use and did not get the coverage I normally would using a brush or my fingers.2
I really just dont like this type of makeup applicator . so I wouldnt purchase this. Its a nice soft sponge and a good shape but just not for me,2
