I found the shape of this sponge quite awkward to handle and not very useful. The texture is also very dense meaning application is not smooth. Prefer other options out there...1
I feel that this sponge was harder than others I've used and also seemed to absorb lots of my foundation which will ultimately end up costing me a lot of money! It was ok for applying powder for baking, but I found the shape too chunky for getting in the corners round my nose.1
I wasn't overally impressed with the sponge. I usually apply my foundation with my fingers and I found the coverage of my foundation to be quite blotchy when I used this1
I usually just use my fingers and a brush to put foundation on my face which works much better than this sponge. I found it hard to use and the colour came out very patchy. Not for me I'm afraid.1
I felt like I was using double the amount of foundation etc with this. And I didn't really feel like it blended effectively. Not something I would buy in the future - I think the popularity is all just hype1
even when i wet it it is very harsh on my skin as in it is not soft at all but it does become a lot larger when u wet it so it becomes a good size.1
Dissatisfied didn't get to test the products as it was missing from the box as well as other 2 products1
This sponge looks like it could be good when dry, but unfortunately when compared to a more expensive and well known brand, it is total garbage. The sponge soaks up a lot of water but rather than extending downwards, it gets really wide. So wide, in fact, it's a terrible shape on the face. It cannot get into areas like between the bridge of my nose and my eye, or easily around the nostrils. It is also too dense and hard. It isn't comfortable to dab on delicate areas of the face. It soaks up a lot of product and doesn't deposit it all on the face.
Overall, skip this in favour of a more reputable brand.
Doesn't apply my foundation very well. Prefer the Real Techniques version.2
I thought this was ok... but didn't love it. However I recently bought the original beauty blender (£16) and it is amazing and would never go back to using anything else!!2
